Inclusive clothing brand Universal Standard just launched a workout line for women sizes 10-28, and it’s about time someone did!
We love the NYC-based brand for its stylish, elegant, and ethically-produced pieces that redefine plus-size fashion. The women-owned business offers anything-but-basic garments for sizes 10 and up, and accessories including plus-size jewelry.
The company’s latest offering is a 5-piece collection of active wear. GAME by Universal Standard is the first workout wear collection for the brand, and it’s equal parts performance-optimizing and cool looking.
It’s not just straight-sized folks who are working out, but sometimes it seems like the athletic fashion industry thinks so. Fast fashion options are available in larger sizes, but they’re not always chic. Universal Standard is out to shake things up.
Alex Waldman, Universal Standard’s Co-founder and CCO, tells HelloGiggles,
