Tyga finally broke his silence about Kylie Jenner’s new baby, and he was surprisingly mature about it

Before Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott started dating, there was Tyga. The makeup mogul dated the rapper for about three years before they broke up and she moved on with Travis Scott. As we all know by now, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott recently announced the birth of their daughter. Little Stormi Webster was born on February 1st, 2018 and took the world by complete surprise. Though there had been a ton of speculation, no one truly knew whether or not Kylie Jenner was pregnant until Stormi was finally here.

And now, because we always can’t help but wonder what the ex thinks, Tyga is speaking up about Jenner and Baby Stormi. We’re proud that he had only nice and supportive things to say about Jenner and her new life. He opened up on Complex’s morning show Everyday Struggle and had some pointed things to say about former relationships and keeping the peace. Though we don’t know exactly how Jenner feels about her ex, we’re glad that he’s keeping it professional and kind.

Tyga said that the two keep in touch here and there, but not on a regular basis. He also noted that there are no bad feelings between the two of them. “You just get older, you get me?” Tyga said. “It was a relationship in front of the world, and that was it.”

Breaking up is hard to do, but Tyga is being really chill about the situation.

It is true that as you get older, things become less dramatic. Even though Tyga and Jenner had a very public relationship, they’ve handled the breakup and their respective moving on very maturely.

The rapper went on to note that each of them are in a different place now than they were before.

"She has her new life, I have my new life and that’s it. There’s no bad blood, no problems."

Tyga and Jenner met in 2011, started dating in 2014, and ultimately split in 2017. Tyga mentioned that the outside scrutiny around their age difference and their massive fame strained the relationship quite a bit.

"I’m older so I can deal with perception. But for her, growing up how she grew up, image and perception was everything."

Though not quite his blessing, Tyga also mentioned that he feels “no type of way” about Jenner having a baby with Travis Scott.

They’ve been broken up long enough that he knows he really has no say one way or the other.

We’re proud of both of them for moving on and expressing themselves in such adult ways. It’s not always easy to be so happy for an ex.
