These two raccoons playing with bubbles *really* know how to party
We show plenty of love to all types of animals, but it’s been a while since raccoons got some shine around these parts. There’s no time like the present to right this wrong, so here are two raccoons playing with soap bubbles that we hope will make up for our lack of attentiveness.
Needless to say, this event makes a most fitting addition to our running list of important hilarious moments in raccoon history, which had also been left embarrassingly unattended until that one hitchhiking raccoon accidentally took a ride on a garbage truck a couple of months ago.
But back to prove that raccoons are always down for fun times is this bubble-bursting pair that we cannot stop watching. In the first clip, both raccoons can be seen bouncing around in a bed, chasing bubbles to the beat of “Hooked on a Feeling” by Blue Suede.

But the partying doesn’t stop there. In the second clip, the raccoons are dressed to the nines: One is clad in a green-and-white striped sweater, while the other looks positively dashing in a red and white polka dot blouse (because you can’t just show up to a bubble party looking any ol’ kind of way).

Someone remind us: Why don’t we spend more time hanging out with raccoons? Sure, they have some pretty questionable nighttime behavior and are notorious for stealing anything that isn’t bolted down.
But they clearly know how to party, y’all, and that’s more than enough incentive for them to earn an invite to our next animal-friendly shindig.
