Two of the three “Charlie’s Angels” cast members reunited and took the sweetest selfie
Good morning, angels! It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 17 years since Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz kicked some serious ass in Charlie’s Angels. But for Barrymore and Diaz, those 17 years have been filled with a powerful friendship that still remains true today. The two actresses had a mini Charlie’s Angels reunion and snapped an Instagram selfie that proves you really can be friends forever.
The actresses reportedly met at a Los Angeles coffee shop when Barrymore was 14 and Diaz was 16. They started hanging out, and the rest is beautiful friendship history.

Barrymore wrote the most sincere caption.
"Getting out of your house with your girlfriend. And being a whole person, with your sister. Remember to spend a moment with the ones you love in your busy life. She has made me feel beyond beautiful. Always has. Always will. #thankgodforyourfriends. They rejuvenate and confirm everything."
That’s what friends are for, after all. Diaz and Barrymore have talked frequently to the press about their longstanding bond. And Diaz is actually the godmother to Barrymore’s daughter Frankie.
In 2016, Barrymore told Good Housekeeping all about the kind of friend Diaz is.
"If you are in scary prison in the middle of nowhere, call Cameron. She’ll get you out. If you’re looking for the best dinner-cooking partner and watching- TV-on-the-couch friend, call her. If someone is in a medical situation, call her! She’s the most loyal, fierce, fun, cozy friend."
Charlie’s Angels is actually getting (another!) reboot in 2019, with Elizabeth Banks signed on to produce and direct. We would not be mad at all if Sony decided to bring back Liu, Diaz, and Barrymore to reprise their roles. Or at least make cool cameos?
