Twinkie-flavored cappuccinos are coming, and we are actually very okay with that

There’s not a soul among us who doesn’t secretly love a good old-fashioned Twinkie, and now the time has come to enjoy them with breakfast! (Okay, okay. We know that some people aren’t all that crazy for this most artificial of baked goods, but just let us have this, okay?) You won’t be having them with your coffee, but in your coffee. That’s right, Twinkies cappuccinos are coming to a store near you, thanks to a partnership with Kerry Convenience. And suddenly, today is a GREAT day.

We’ve had lattes flavored with caramel and chocolate and chestnut (to name a few), so a sponge-cake coffee beverage would probably taste pretty delicious. According to Food Business News, “The cappuccino is inspired by Hostess’ classic Twinkie and features a combination of milk, sponge cake flavor and a hint of coffee.”

Sooo…caffeine hit and dessert in one? YES! SIGN US UP AND TAKE OUR TWINKIE-LOVING MONEY ALREADY.

In the same article, Ellen Copaken, Vice President of Marketing at Hostess, noted that, “Hostess has risen to be the No. 1 snack cake of choice for c-store customers.” So this divine matrimony of baked good and java only makes sense.
