These 11 Tweets are offering us immense comfort after the election
The election is officially over. Donald Trump will be the 45th President of the United States, and stunned Clinton supporters are still taking in the election results. We’re all trying to process this new reality. Today is hard for many, but as we go about our normal lives, many of us are finding comfort in the words of friends and strangers on the internet.
Politicians, celebrities, moms, dads, sons, daughters, and everyone in between have been Tweeting their thoughts about the results of the election.
Their messages have been incredibly uplifting, and truthfully, exactly what we need right now.
In darkness, there is always light. Despite what we hoped and believed would happen for our country, things look different now. Good things are still possible, we just need to help create those things. It’ll be an uphill battle – but we cannot stop fighting.
Here are some of our favorite uplifting and comforting post-election tweets we’ve seen so far…

We’ve come too far to quit now. Encouraging words to keep going:

You're likely not a blind, out of touch libtard.
Nor a hateful, misogynist racist.
