Here are some of the ways TV is paying tribute to the late comedy queen Mary Tyler Moore

The world of comedy lost an icon yesterday when the beautiful Mary Tyler Moore passed away. And now, all sorts of channels are taking time out of their regularly scheduled programming to pay tribute to the star.

CBS, ABC, SundanceTV, meTV, and PBS are just some of the channels who will have special programming dedicated to the entertainer.

Mary Tyler Moore dominated comedy television for years. Between The Dick Van Dyke Show and then her own, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, she made millions of people laugh. And, she basically redefined what the modern working woman looked like while doing so.

It seems appropriate that so many networks would take the time to honor the comedic performer. Here are just a few of the special programs scheduled to date.

CBS

Tonight at 9/8 central, the network will air Mary Tyler Moore: Love Is All Around. It is an hour-long special dedicated to the life and work of the actress. It will be hosted by Gayle King.

ABC

This Friday, 20/20 will honor the life of the Emmy-award winner at 10/9 central.

PBS

In 2015, PBS created a documentary honoring the star. It features several of her counterparts speaking highly of the star and her work. They’ll begin airing it again at various times.

SundanceTV

On Saturday, all 24 episodes of the final season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show will play on a marathon on the station starting at 6 am.

MeTV

The network will air six classic episodes of The Mary Tyler Moore Show starting at 2 pm.

getTV

This station will feature a couple more obscure – but just as wonderful – TV moments of Moore. On Monday at 11 pm EST, it will air the comedy special she and Dick Van Dyke performed together called Dick Van Dyke and The Other Woman.

So if you’re looking for ways to honor the incredible woman and amazing performer, you have some pretty great options to choose from.
