For as long as we’ve known her, Troian Bellisario has rocked some shade of brunette hair. The Pretty Little Liars star gets experimental with her fashion—ahem, even transforming her wedding dress into a red carpet look—but she has kept her signature hair color over the years. That is, until now. It seems the quarantine hair-dye bug has hit even her, and Bellisario showed off a new hair color. Sure, the exact color was an accident, but it looks amazing.
Yesterday, on Labor Day, September 7th, Bellisario posted a photo of her reddish-orange-pink hair transformation to her Instagram feed, thanking stylist David Stanwell for the new look.
When you go for rose gold but you end up in peach (maybe blood orange?) and love it way more, Bellisario captioned her hair pic.
We totally see the rose gold inspo, but in an era when basically every celeb is going for pink hair, we love that she has a little something different. Plus, those waves? That’s the beachy hair dream right there.
Her stylist posted his own photo to Instagram showing off his work on Bellisario’s hair. “New hair who dis spent the better part of a day with this beautiful human @sleepinthegardn love you babe so much fresh cut and color..!!!” he wrote. In Stanwell’s pic, you can peek that they kept those dark roots intact for a bit of an ombre vibe.
Bellisario has been keeping busy (and everyone else entertained) in quarantine by posting yoga and cooking videos—and now she’s also blessing us with hair color inspiration.
Though she’s not currently attached, it was just announced that the Riverdale showrunner is rebooting Pretty Little Liars, the show that made Troian Bellisario a household name among teens and twentysomethings. We think it definitely needs a Spencer Hastings cameo and even better if Spencer is now sporting, appropriately, blood orange hair.
