Tristan Thompson’s Ex Shades Him While He Attends Lavish Kardashian Party
Khloé Kardashian threw a blow-out birthday bash for five-year-old True at her $17 million mansion.
Khloé Kardashian pulled out all the stops to celebrate an early fifth birthday of daughter True, complete with exotic animals, a souped-up slime station, and the most extra dessert display on the planet. Many were impressed by her Instagram Stories and the lavish party details. Some noticed the appearance of a surprise guest: ex-fiancé, serial cheater, and father of True, Tristan Thompson.
Kardashian-watchers noticed the NBA player in the background of an Instagram story posted by actress and friend Malika Haqq, reports Page Six. While fans have been calling out the famous family for inviting a “cheater” to his own daughter’s birthday party, others were paying attention to the social media feed of Maralee Nichols, another other point in the Khloé-Tristan love triangle.

The post includes a series of images of her and her son Theo frolicking on the beach at sunset. She shares her 15-month-old baby boy with Thompson. However the athlete rarely speaks about his relationship with the pair, with many fans questioning his parental involvement.
Followers were quick to comment in support of Nichols’ solo parenting and “shading” Thompson. “It is so heartbreaking how tristan treats this beautiful baby,” IG user newnew54 wrote.

Thompson confirmed he was Theo’s father back in January 2022, after reports that he offered Nichols $75,000 to stay quiet about the situation and asked her to get an abortion, according to The Daily Mail.
People reported that the two will “amicably” raise their son together. “I take full responsibility for my actions,” he revealed in an Instagram story at the time. “Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
He has since been criticized for not being an active part of his youngest son’s life, but very much involved with the lives of his other children, including six-year old Prince Oliver, whom he shares with another baby mama, Jordan Craig.
The low-key Nichols pics came shortly after Kardashian posted over 20 images and videos on Instagram stories with details from her daughter’s party.
The birthday bash, held at her $17 million mansion in Hidden Hills, CA, included costumed characters from The Octonauts, a touch-tank with live aquatic animals, a painting station, colorful cocktails for parents, and mountains of pastel balloons.
The Kardashians seem willing to sweep his multiple cheating scandals under the rug, in an effort to create a more stable environment for True and her brother, who was born in August 2022 and whose name has not since been shared publicly.
Last month, Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner shared birthday tributes to Thompson on his 32nd birthday. People was quick to note that Nichols also shared some Theo-focused Instagram stories shortly after Kardashian’s post, possibly a reminder of their complicated relationship.
