Everlane launched a collection of eco-conscious dad shoes

Whether you love them or hate them, it’s impossible to deny that dad sneakers have proven themselves to be much more than a passing trend. The ugly-chic shoes have earned themselves a solid spot in our hearts, as much as we tried to deny it at first.

Now, one of our favorite brands, Everlane, is hopping on board in a major way. As of today, April 25th, the retailer has launched a brand new shoe line, called Tread by Everlane.

So far, the line is made up of a single unisex shoe design that’s available in seven neutral colors (think shades of white, cream, navy, and black). And while it’s certainly dad-esque, aesthetically speaking, this isn’t any ol’ dad sneaker.

Everlane has set out to make the most sustainable shoe possible with Tread, as part of its mission to make the world’s lowest-impact sneakers. In fact, Tread by Everlane is totally carbon-neutral. Cool, right?
