The trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is here and will give you all the magical feels

It’s been far too long since we’ve had some magical, Harry Potter goodness in our lives, and if the trio isn’t planning on reuniting anytime soon, then the next best thing is more adventures from the magical wizarding world. However, after seeing the new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, starring Eddie Redmayne and based on the book by J.K. Rowling, it’s looking like the alternative is just as amazing as the series we grew up loving.

While not even two minutes long, the trailer sets up some important points about the film. One, it’s set in New York, and two, some magical beasts escaped and Newt Scamander (Redmayne’s character) has to go find them. Some of this we already knew, but seeing it in the living, breathing flesh got us so much more excited. It’s real and it’s happening.

Well, not until November 2016. That may seem like a long way away, but we can comfort ourselves with the fact that between now and then, we’re bound to get even more trailers, clips, and interviews to gear us up for the magical moment.
