The first trailer for “Everything, Everything” with Amandla Stenberg just dropped, and we are 100% obsessed

Hold the phone: The first trailer for Everything, Everything just dropped and it looks amazing. We are already hooked on this upcoming film, starring Amandla Stenberg, and it’s not even out yet.

On Tuesday, MGM and Warner Bros. released the first look at their new film, based on the Nicola Yoon novel, and it’s as magical as we expected. The story follows Stenberg’s character, Madeline, who is sick and stuck in her house. She has never stepped outside, yet longs to see the ocean.

When a new neighbor moves in next door, it’s love at first sight on both sides. Madeline is clearly intrigued by Olly (played by Nick Robinson), and he can’t stop thinking about her.

The actual trailer is the perfect depiction of true love, and the need to live life to the fullest.

From the beginning we are introduced to Madeline and her mother (who is a doctor), played by Anika Noni Rose, and her nurse Carla (Ana de la Reguera). She tells her story and explains that she has been sick her whole life, and therefore only knows the inside.

What does she actually want in life? To experience “everything, everything.” But, with her immunodeficiency disease, she’ll never have the chance.

Next we meet Olly, who is totally dreamy and wants to know why Madeline never goes outside. Is she under house arrest he asks, after writing his number on his window. Because her nurse has a soft spot for her, Carla allows Olly to come over and meet the young girl, and their love blossoms.

There is dreamy music throughout the trailer as we see that Olly only wants Madeline to be happy, and to see the ocean, which is her dream. He even posts photos of oceans and beaches on the window so she can imagine it.

Madeline, eventually leaves her house and vows to live at least one perfect day, and find out if she’s actually sick.

Of course, Olly and the beach are on her must-see list. It’s so romantic and touching, but scary at the same time. She does get ill and tries to push Olly away, but based on the teaser, he’s not letting go. It’s pretty much the most romantic film you’ll see this year and we are obsessed.

Everything, Everything hits theaters on May 19th, 2017, and we cannot wait to see it.
