The internet wants Tracee Ellis Ross to play Ms. Frizzle, and she seems intrigued by the fan casting

Buckle up, we’re gonna take you on a wild ride! The kind that Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus would love. And that’s oh-so-appropriate because the internet wants Tracee Ellis Ross to take on the role of Ms. Frizzle in a live-action version of The Magic School Bus. And we are ready!

You probably remember The Magic School Bus. You know, the animated children’s show that centered on an eccentric teacher named Ms. Frizzle. Ms. Frizzle took the kids on adventures in a school bus that could magically transform, becoming small enough to go inside a body or large enough to be a dinosaur. Basically, the coolest (and scariest?) class field trips ever.

Because the internet can be a wonderful place, a fan came up with the idea that Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross would make the perfect Ms. Frizzle.

Others really ran with it — someone even made this amazing art! false

We can see totally see how she would be perfect.

Then, Ross herself jumped into the conversation on Twitter.

And she didn’t shoot down the idea. Rather, she kind of welcomed it, which only made everyone freak out more.

Recently, a new animated version of The Magic School Bus was announced, with Kate McKinnon voicing the quirky teacher.

But, we are all in for a live-action version down the road, starring Ross. Plus, it sounds like she would potentially be interested in the role, so we’re just gonna stick with that amazing idea. Now, who do we need to call to make this happen?!
