Tom Hiddleston just posted the most epic “Thor” throwback

Production on Thor: Ragnarok, the ‘intergalactic buddy road movie’, as described by Mark Ruffalo, is still underway in Australia. Filming began in June, and two months later we’re no closer to being able to wait for its release. Thankfully Tom Hiddleston has helped us by joining Instagram. His first post was just a week ago, and today he posted an epic #throwback.

Check out nemeses Thor and Loki looking like mere kids in the pic below, and no-worse-for-the-wear above, hmm mm.

Five years have passed since the release of Thor, the first film in which Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth appeared as adoptive brothers and arch enemies in the Marvel Universe. Since then they’ve appeared in two more squeal-inducing films, The Avengers, and Thor: The Dark World.

The superstar superheroes aren’t shy about admitting that they’ve become total besties, calling their friendship “a literal bromance.”

Meanwhile, Hemsworth, God of Instagram, posted a photo of the two in front of the same newsstand set piece in Hiddleston’s pic:

We’re loving the headlines: “Villain Loki Spotted,” “Has Thor Returned?” and “Hammer Attack.” We’re having some kind of attack over these pics, that’s for sure.
