Tom Hardy responds to old MySpace photos, is glorious

Imagine being presented with some of your old Myspace pictures. How would you react? Would you just nervous laugh and mention that you were “so young” when taking those super artsy weird-angle black and white pictures? Would you just cringe forever? Or would you totally embrace them like Tom Hardy just did? You read that right: TH loves his old MySpace pictures. And we love him even more for loving his old pictures.

If you haven’t seen Hardy’s old Myspace pictures, you need to check them out. They’re your typical Myspace pictures—complete with shirtless, filterless selfies, awkward camera angles and a few goofball shots we’re still laughing about, because they are AWESOME.

“I’ve got no shame about my Myspace photos, especially the one of me in my underpants which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat,” he recently told Sky News. “In America, they say ‘you should be ashamed of this’ but I’m actually not remotely ashamed — that is me in my natural habitat, thank you.”

The real kicker is Hardy’s next statement, where he mentions, “I might not be an Adonis, but I like to think of myself as an Adonis in that photo.” Your Greek Mythology lesson for the day involves Adonis, and the fact that he was considered one of the most beautiful humans back in his day.

Let’s all just be like Hardy for a day, and embrace our old selves, and our old Myspace profiles. The world would be a wonderful place, and it’s a decision our guy Hardy completely supports.
