Tom Hanks’s SNL promos have arrived!
In our humble opinion, Saturday Night Live is still awesome — even after over 40 years. And one of our favorite parts of the week is when SNL releases their promos for the upcoming Saturday show (because how else would we know that the weekend is coming?).
This week Tom Hanks will be hosting with musical guest Lady Gaga, and his promos (with one of our total cast favorites, Leslie Jones) have officially arrived!
HAZAAH!
And they don’t disappoint. Hanks and Jones sit atop the Rockafellar Center rooftop, sipping mimosas, flirting (kind of), and getting chased by NBC security — you know, as you do.

When not hosting SNL, Hanks has been hard at work promoting his recent film Sully, about Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, who famously emergency-landed a US Airways flight on the Hudson River, saving all 155 passengers on board.
That is, when he’s not surprising newlyweds in Central Park (best. wedding. day. ever. btws).
Needless to say, we’re super excited for this week’s show. Hanks always brings the funny, and we seriously need some of that in our lives right now.
