Tom Ford’s newest lipstick is named after Drake, because of course it is

It has been a Drake kind of week. On Monday, the rapper/singer/actor/all-around emotional dude dropped the highly-anticipated music video for ‘Hotline Bling’ — and the Internet responded in kind by turning it into one of the most hilarious memes of the year. Ever since, visions of Drake in a chunky grey turtleneck continue to dance awkwardly through my head. It’s been impossible for me to imagine listening to another song ever again. I’ve got Drake fever, and I’ve got it bad.

But how can I best honor my love for October’s Very Own, aside from streaming ‘Hotline Bling’ on repeat and purchasing a $45 hat with “woes” embroidered on it? As it turns out, designer Tom Ford has my back. On Tuesday, Ford announced that he would be releasing a new shade of lipstick inspired by Drake as part of his upcoming “Lips & Boys” collection — and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

“The collection, which is inspired by notable men in the designer’s life, was previously available for a limited time,” according to PEOPLE StyleWatch. “But the success of its inaugural launch is triggering talk of a more permanent home for the line — news that’s soothing to Drake fans who were unsure if the lipstick would last them till the debut of the rapper’s upcoming album.”

What a time to be alive. Of course, makeup was the inevitable next step in Drake’s sad boy empire, and we couldn’t be more excited to get our hands on it. The new shade — a deep burgundy, housed in TF’s iconic, beautiful packaging — will debut on October 30.
