Okay, somebody help — we cannot stop laughing at this ~hysterical~ compilation of Tom Cruise running backwards. Yep, you read that correctly, and we have Moviepilot.com to thank.

In the 30-second video, you’ll see Cruise running backwards in scenes from many different films he’s been in, and the compilation is genius. We don’t want to tell you which movies the clips are from — we don’t want to ruin your fun.

Of course, Cruise is currently out promoting Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (ironic, huh, given the above!), probably running forward, so to speak. After all, the film was released in the U.S. on October 21. ICYMI, in the film, Cruise and Cobie Smulders play characters who are trying to figure out the truth behind a major government conspiracy. Intriguing, amirite?!

In other Tom Cruise-related news, we also just found out that he can hold his breath for six-and-a-half minutes. But that’s another story (and don’t try it without the assistance of trained professionals!).
