Today is Hug Your Cat Day: Let these cats show you how hugs are done

Attention all cat-loving Gigglers! (I’m pretty sure that means all of us, right?)

Today is the perfect day to snuggle with your kitty. I know, I know. Every day is a perfect day for kitty snuggles. But today it’s official, because June 4 is National Hug Your Cat Day! Yes, Hug Your Cat Day is a thing. And we’re all about it, obviously. So in celebration, set your eyeballs on these awesome cats giving awesome hugs…

Cats especially love hugging their toys.

Even when the toys are bigger than they are.

Or teeny tiny.

They love hugs so much that sometimes they have to hug a toy that’s hugging a toy. (That’s three hugs in one, in case you’re keeping track).

They love to hug their friends, even when those friends are dogs.

No matter if the dog is enormous…

…or reluctant. (“Okay, okay, just let me hug your leg!”)

When their besties aren’t dogs, sometimes they’re bunnies.

Or guinea pigs.
