Here’s what’s coming to Netflix in January, so you can ring in the new year with a binge
Get ready to ring in 2018 with a (movie) marathon because a lot of top-notch movies are coming to Netflix in January.
The dead of winter is rapidly approaching, but don’t fret, because January is shaping up to be the ultimate month of rom-coms. Instead of venturing out into the cold, stay warm with Love, Actually, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Definitely, Maybe, which will all be arriving on the streaming platform in the new year.
But if rom-coms aren’t your thing, you’re still in luck, as a slew of acclaimed films like The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, Apollo 13, and Dallas Buyers Club will also be headed to the streaming platform in January — joined by the Bring It On pentalogy and every history major’s favorite heist film, National Treasure.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s original series, including One Day at a Time, Grace and Frankie, and Lovesick are all returning with new seasons next month. And finally, if jury’s still out on your favorite Batman, you can have a taste of them all — well, almost all of them — as five Batman films (starring four different Batmans) will be gracing the streaming platform in January.
