A town in Sweden is now filled with tiny shops for mice and they could not be any cuter

We’re all about cute and are so happy that a town in Sweden is now filled with tiny shops for mice —  and they could not be any cuter. If you happen to be in Malmö, which is cute in and of itself, look down sometimes. Chances are, you’ll see miniature businesses, like a bakery fit for a mouse, on the sides of some buildings, reported BoredPanda.

One is a cheese and cracker shop, which could not be more fitting, amirite?! Though mice can’t actually enter the shops and storefronts to nab a piece of cheese, it’s still a nice thought — not to mention visually appealing for all of us.

The people behind the mouse masterpieces? An artist group called AnonyMouse. (FYI: Not the same as Anonymouse.org, which specializes in online privacy.)

“It’s just too darn charming to imagine a world where mice lives parallel to ours but just slightly out of sight,” said one representative of the group, who wanted to remain anonymous, reported The Huffington Post.

Here’s a look at one of the mouse shops, aka a true work of art.

Is it just us, or is anyone else wondering if Tiny Hamster would like to visit these shops?!

For perspective, the stores are approximately 25×12 inches. And look at the details of this table and chair. Can you spot the recycled materials? Fun fact: The mouse-sized stores are made from materials such as lids from tin cans to Italian stamps, an AnonyMouse artist told The Huffington Post.

“The idea was to use things mice themselves could have collected and reused,” the artist said. Pretty cool, huh?

Awwww. If we were mice, we’d def want in.

And here’s another one. Look at all the deliciousness in the window.

Here’s a closer look. Y-U-M!

“Already people have started to interact with them ― someone has baked miniature buns and posters have been added to the scenery,” an AnonyMouse artist told The Huffington Post. Awwwww. Lovvvvve it.

For their inspiration, the artists told The Huffington Post “big influences” of theirs are people like Don Bluth, Astrid Lindgren, and Disney. We shouldn’t be surprised Disney’s one of the inspirations, right? ? We’re also curious what Mickey and Minnie would think. That would be the real test.

Meanwhile, we’re excited to see what AnonyMouse comes up with next.
