Beyoncé and Solange’s mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, has a special way of getting back at her kids, and it’s noisy
Mother, or rather grandmother, knows best! Beyoncé and Solange’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, gets back at her kids through her grandchildren, and it’s too funny.
Knowles-Lawson has two of music’s biggest stars — Beyoncé and Solange — in her family, but to her, they’re just her two daughters who were wild kids at one point, and even they deserve to get some karmic justice.
The 63-year-old mother recently sat down with People and explained that being a mom is great, but being a grandmother is a whole other level.
"Being a grandmother is the second best job in the world," she said; the first is "being a mom."
During the 2017 Ladylike Foundation Annual Women of Excellence Awards Gala in Beverly Hills, Knowles-Lawson opened up all about her second favorite job.
“That’s the fun part,” she told People about spoiling her grandchildren. Even better than spoiling her grandkids is how she does it…and the fact that it annoys her kids in the process.
"I buy them drum sets and noisy toys," Knowles-Lawson admitted. "I encourage them to ask for everything, so I’m getting my kids back."
LOL, this is a total mom move, and we totally approve. Now we just need to hear about the stories about Beyoncé and Solange growing up. Why do they deserve their children playing with loud toys from grandma?
We need more details! Until then, we’ll just be over here laughing about the hilarious grandma move these two singers’ mother pulls on the regular. She’s just fabulous.
