These Tina Fey and Amy Poehler action figures are real, and we need them

As we all know, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were one of the best “Weekend Update” teams in Saturday Night Live history. The ladies rocked that desk, and although we loved Amy and Seth Meyers (and Seth Meyers solo) we will always miss the Amy-Tina years. But the geniuses at toy company Bif Bang Pow! have heard our collective wish to once again see Amy and Tina hosting, and have created the action figures of our dreams.

The action figure set contains 3 and a half inch renderings of Amy and Tina in their signature “Weekend Update” pantsuits. There’s even a fold-out diorama of the “Weekend Update” set, so you can truly relive those awesome days when everyone’s favorite besties were keeping us up to date on the latest faux-news. Jokes are not included but, you know, pretty sure you can unearth some classic zingers from SNL re-runs.

And what lucky super-fans will get their hands on the Fey-Poehler action figure dream team? They’re exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con via Entertainment Earth, a company that’s been at Comic-Con for 18 years running. They’ve also produced such gems as a Seth Meyers Weekend Update bobblehead and an action figure of Breaking Bad’s Jesse Pinkman, complete with his own Hazmat suit.

There are only 2,400 sets available for attendees. If they have any left after the convention, the public will be able to order them this July. (They’re $29.95 for the set) But let’s be real: those things are going to go like hotcakes. Fingers crossed that Bif Bang Pow! decides to help us all make our “Weekend Update” reunion dreams come true and make the set widely available!
