This is why so many celebs are wearing the same black-and-white bracelet at the 2019 Golden Globes

Countless celebrities wore pins to the 2018 Golden Globes to show their support for both the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements. And this year, during the 2019 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 6th, many of those same artists can be seen wearing bracelets around their wrists—this time to show solidarity for a movement called TimesUpx2.

According to Deadline, the accessories were designed by Oscar-nominated costume designer Arianne Phillips and “symbolize that we are all tied together in our joint commitment to create safe, fair and dignified workplaces for women of all kinds.” They also represent the second year of the Time’s Up movement and the goal of doubling the number of women in leadership positions across all industries.

The silicon bracelets (which are available in both black and white) are currently for sale on the Time’s Up website, here, and proceeds specifically go toward efforts to increase more women in leadership roles.

Time’s Up has already made a huge impact in the one year since its inception. The Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund GoFundMe page was the most successful GoFundMe of 2018, and 3,700 women have already reached out to the fund for assistance in covering legal fees for workplace sexual harassment suits.
