How to get tickets to Christina Aguilera’s Liberation tour — her first tour in over a decade
It’s been more than five years since her last album, and now Christina Aguilera is back with new music. The pop superstar dropped her latest single, “Accelerate,” on May 3rd, to much fanfare and announced an upcoming 11-track album, Liberation. And today, May 9th, Aguilera revealed her upcoming “Liberation” tour, which will be her first time on tour in more than 10 years.
The “Liberation” tour will begin in Hollywood, Florida on September 25th and snake its way through 22 cities across the country, ending in St. Petersburg, Florida on November 13th. Tickets for the event will be sold online at Live Nation starting on May 18th, so be sure to mark the date in your calendars. And if you have an American Express card, you can snag your ticket during pre-sale from May 14th to May 17th. Aguilera’s fans who purchase a ticket to one of her shows will also receive a free copy of her newest album, Liberation, which hits stores June 15th.
But Aguilera’s fans don’t have to wait much longer to hear more of Liberation. The “Dirrty” singer will premiere the album’s second single, “Fall in Line,” at the Billboard Music Awards on May 20th — performing alongside fellow powerhouse vocalist Demi Lovato. Other than that, not much is known about Liberation‘s sound, but Kanye West produced two of the album’s tracks, including the R&B bop “Accelerate,” hinting that Aguilera’s new music may have hip-hop influences.
In a recent video interview, Aguilera said that Liberation was inspired by a longing to return to the sense of freedom she felt as a child. We’re excited to hear how she embraces this idea in her new album and her 2018 tour. June 15th can’t come soon enough!
