Tia Mowry owned her gray hairs in a selfie, and her reasons are totally inspiring
Getting older can be a scary thing, and thus some of us often want to run away from the various physical signs of aging. We spend a lot on anti-wrinkle creams, and we dye our hair to avoid grays. But in a recent selfie, Tia Mowry-Hardict embraced her gray hairs, and she had a great reason for it. The Sister, Sister and The Game actress is only 38-years-old, so she is obviously still young and totally gorgeous (and talented, duh). However, that doesn’t mean she can’t get a few gray hairs. In fact, Tia shared a photo showing some of those pesky little hairs, but she doesn’t shy away from them. She celebrates them for this very important reason.
Tia Mowry-Hardict is proud of her gray hairs, because they’re a symbol of how far she’s come.
"Grey's I see you, but guess what, that's okay. Because with grey hair, comes wisdom:)"
That’s right, Tia embraces her grays, because they prove that she’s gained a lot of wisdom. Tia has been working in entertainment since she was 12-years-old. She’s done movies, film, TV, and modeling. She’s happily married to fellow actor, Cory Hardict. She has a totally adorable son, Cree Taylor.
All those life experiences can only enhance her. And if that wisdom brings a few gray hairs, then who cares? Tia certainly doesn’t. Because she’s too busy totally crushing it.
And seeing this wider shot of Tia’s look from the same day proves a few grays don’t make a fab lady like her any less fierce.
That is some serious New Year style!
Besides, as you get older, there are more important things to worry about than your gray hairs.
We so admire Tia for embracing and celebrating her gray hairs. Because if we were given the choice, we’d totally sacrifice a little pigment in our hair for some wisdom like Tia’s.
