This throwback Instagram from the First Family is giving us all the Thanksgiving feels
There is a lot to be thankful for today. We’re always grateful for our families, friends and pets… and, of course, the First Family too. It’s the Obamas’ final Thanksgiving in the White House and they’re doing it up right.
As Obama’s term comes to an end, there’s a lot to be thankful for. Getting to know Michelle and (her incredible style!) and watching Malia and Sasha grow up are just two of our favorites.
After finishing up the White House dinner menu, first lady Michelle shared an adorable throwback photo on Instagram and it’s giving us total Thanksgiving feels.
Over the past 8 years, Sasha and Malia have grown from little girls to young ladies and into incredible people like their parents.
“Today and every day we have a lot to be thankful for, Michelle Obama writes in the caption of her Insta snap. “From our family to yours - Happy Thanksgiving.
The family had fun yesterday as Obama took lead of the Turkey Pardon, a yearly event that has been tradition for 69 years.
“The National Thanksgiving Turkey presentation [is a time to] reflect upon the time-honored traditions of Thanksgiving, and wish American families a warm, safe, and healthy holiday, the Office of the Press Secretary of White House wrote in a press release.
