Thor might have lost his hammer, but he’s still got his sense of humor in the first “Ragnarok” teaser

Our sweet, precious Thor can’t seem to catch a break right now.

When we next meet up with our mighty Avenger, things are not looking good for him. He’s ~somewhere~ in space, his trusty hammer, Mjölnir, has been destroyed, and now he’s been captured by Jeff Goldblum (honestly, that last one isn’t so bad). But even worse, Thor’s also going to have to fight one of his best friends!! The God of Thunder has seen better days.

This first trailer for Ragnarok finally sets up all that we’ve been told about the movie so far: Hela (Cate Blanchett, looking ?) has taken over, and declared this the end of Asgard — and she’s the one who destroys Mjölnir, poor Mjölnir. This means Thor’s got some time on his hands, since he can’t save the universe right now, and ends up in the clutches of the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum, living his best life). That’s when the Grandmaster makes Thor fight a near and dear friend, The Incredible Hulk. 

However, unbeknownst to Thor, he doesn’t realize he’s literally got to fight Bruce Banner to the death, so at first he is super excited to see his friend.

See, we always knew underneath those long luscious locks, Thor had a sense of humor. And speaking of luscious locks, it looks like Loki’s using a new conditioner.
