This teen athlete had one of the most genius promposals ever

Promposals weren’t always a thing — but we have to admit, they do add a bit of mystery and surprise to a fun milestone event. One promposal from a teen athlete has gone viral, for all the right reasons. It wasn’t expensive, or over the top. Instead, it was clever and incredibly well thought out.
Concocted by 17-year-old Joran Fuller for his girlfriend Claire Short, Fuller decided to let technology do most of the work. Both Fuller and Short are big fans of running, so Fuller decided to use an app called Strava that tracks a runner’s route. He then shared it with his girlfriend, and that was that.
Fuller wrote out the word “PROM?” during his run. It took over five miles to make it happen.

We can’t think of a more personalized way to ask someone to the prom.
The promposal went viral after Short shared it to Twitter. (Obviously, she said yes!)

"He actually stopped by that day to bring me some food because I wasn’t feeling well, and he told me to check Strava and I saw it, Short said in an interview with Buzzfeed News.
Strava art has been done before, but it’s still uncommon enough to be truly special.
Obviously, Short got a huge response back after tweeting what happened. Fuller’s promposal currently has over 16,000 retweets, and many responses urging Short to marry Fuller ASAP for such a sweet gesture.
Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves here — maybe they’ll think of marriage down the road. For now, we just hope these two have an incredible time at their prom!
