This is why Mila Kunis thinks her “Bad Moms” role is so important

She definitely knows something about being a mom. Since she’s currently about to film the sequel, Mila Kunis chatted up her role in Bad Moms and made us realize why it’s actually pretty important. In fact, according to Kunis, she didn’t really realize that the part had more meaning until fans approached her about it!

Coming fresh off of maternity leave for her second child, Dimitri Portwood Kutcher, Kunis is getting ready to film A Bad Moms Christmas. The original film came out last year, and was a huge hit — so, it makes sense for the star to reunite with her funny castmates, Kristen Bell, Christina Applegate, and Kathryn Hahn.

In the original, Kunis starred as Amy Mitchell, the overworked PTA mom of two.

"It’s so strange," Kunis said during the CinemaCon in Las Vegas. I feel like people are so appreciative of the voice that it gave not just women or mothers. Even men come up to me and say, ‘This movie is so great. I finally understand my mom and my wife so much more.’ People really responded to it because it’s honest."

Of course, Kunis also knows that deep down, the film is also a comedy. But that’s one of the reasons why it was such a success.

"It’s very funny and it’s very over the top, but it’s grounded in so much honesty," she added.

While the movie has yet to be filmed, there are reports that they’re hoping for a release this upcoming November. While a lot is still up in the air, Kunis did mention in an interview with CinemaBlend that the sequel would include full-frontal nudity.

So, this probably isn’t the sort of Christmas movie you’ll want to see with your own mother. Good to know.
