This is what Kim Kardashian thinks of Kendall Jenner’s controversial Pepsi ad
The Kardashian-Jenner clan has kept pretty quiet about Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi debacle — until now. In a preview for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we get a little insight into how the family feels. Kim Kardashian offered her opinion of Jenner’s Pepsi ad, and we’re ready to hear more.
First, here’s a little background in case you don’t remember. Earlier this year, Jenner starred in a rather insensitive Pepsi commercial that was met with a ton of backlash. The ad simplified the importance of protesting and police relations, particularly for people of color. It portrayed a white woman (Jenner) as a hero while pushing aside women of color. By handing a police officer a can of Pepsi, she was shown saving the world and creating peace in a way that is not at all realistic.
Pretty much everyone agreed that both Pepsi and Jenner needed to apologize.
But for the most part, everyone has been quiet.
Jenner herself has never said much about the controversy. But in the following clip, it’s clear that the famous family will touch on it this season.

After Jenner expresses that she feels like her life is over, Kardashian passionately offers her support. Tears in eyes, it’s clear that she has her sister’s back — but that the ad was in poor taste.
"You made a mistake," Kardashian tells her sister.
Per usual, we are open to hearing what Jenner (and the fam) have to say about the commercial. Like Kim said, it is clear that Jenner made a mistake. We hope Jenner can own up to it in a real way. People make mistakes. Brands make mistakes. Apologies are always the right move.
And we know this family sticks together.

Here’s to hoping that Jenner reaches out and apologizes in a powerful way.
