The latest This Is Us Season 3 teaser looks like it features Jack and Rebecca’s first kiss
Fans of This Is Us have been anxiously awaiting the Season 3 premiere for months, and now, with the show’s September return just around the corner, the wait has become even more unbearable. But there’s good news: NBC just released a brand new promo for the third season—and it might feature Jack and Rebecca’s first kiss.
The teaser, released on August 30th, is only 30 seconds long, yet it manages to hit every single emotional button possible. It touches on the heartbreaks of Season 2—including the doctor telling Rebecca that Jack has died, and we see Kate make a birthday wish (a baby). We’re then introduced to young Jack and Rebecca meeting for the first time.
Shortly after hearing Rebecca singing Cat Stevens’ “Moonshadow,” Jack declares that he hasn’t met a girl…he’s met “the girl.” The promo ends with the two of them sharing a steamy kiss, which, given the context, could very well be their first.

In addition to Jack and Rebecca’s blossoming romance, we also know that Season 3 will feature a new timeline involving Jack’s military days during the Vietnam War. And as if that weren’t enough, the new season will also continue the flash-forward timeline introduced in Season 2.

We can’t wait to know more about what comes next (or…before) for Jack, Rebecca, and the rest of the Pearsons. September 25th can’t come fast enough.
