This is how Jerrod Blandino got the inspo for Too Faced’s Chocolate collection
How can you not be totally in love with Jerrod Blandino, the co-founder of Too Faced cosmetics. He’s so sweet, so adorable, and he’s a holiday fanatic. Plus, he loves makeup just as much as we do — have you seen how excited he is about the Kat Von D and Too Faced collection? Plus, he LOVES to tease new makeup products on his Instagram, like the mini Chocolate Chip palette and we can’t get enough! To celebrate Thanksgiving (the man wastes NO time) he sat down to create an inspiring video about gratitude. He lists family, “framily,” and the entire Too Faced nation as his some of the things he’s the most thankful for.
Believe it or not, but it wasn’t too long ago Jerrod was totally uninspired and feeling his least creative. A little day of pampering at the Four Seasons took care of that.
A lover of all things chocolate (he did create the best candy-smelling palette ever), Jerrod opted for a chocolate facial. The facialist explained to him all the magical properties of the rich dessert. It’s apparently the most antioxidant-rich plant. Plus, it’s extremely hydrating. Eureka!
This inspired the Too Faced co-founder to infuse products with cocoa powder and create the best-selling (and smelling) Chocolate Soleil collection.
This collection eventually evolved into eyeshadows!
Then, the makeup collection featured contour powders.
And now, we can pretty much shop any chocolate-smelling beauty products from Too Faced!
