It’s Justin Bieber’s birthday today, and his single wish is making us melt
While it may be hard to believe, today is the Biebs’ 23rd birthday, which means he’s been gracing us with his musical presence for over 10 years! And while you might expect that he’d ask for something majorly extravagant, what Justin Bieber wants for his birthday is simple, mature, and actually, beautiful.
He posted a message via social media (because he returned to Instagram — hopefully for good!) that expresses his b-day wishes, and we love it for so many reasons. It’s a blast from the past, there are bubbles, and it features a super lovely concept: Striving to be a better human.
"It's my birthday and all I want is to be a better friend, better brother, better son and better man."
Looking back, the Biebs has never really been a “bad boy” (as much as the media loves to blow up every move he makes). Still, we love that he’s aspiring to be a better person for all the people he holds dear. It’s amazingly simple and humble, and it seems to indicate a lot of recent self-reflection.

His 2017 began with four Grammy nominations, and we’re confident his career is only going up from here. And um, as long as he keeps taking his shirt off…(J/K, J/K. But okay also, kinda not).
