This barista posted an epic rant about the Unicorn Frappuccino

Whenever someone posts something about a “secret menu” or a new drink, baristas everywhere groan. So, there’s a chance that a bunch of them can relate to this barista rant about the Unicorn Frappuccino that recently went public. His method? Twitter. His anger? Reasonable.

As you’ve probably heard, the Unicorn Frappuccino made a huge splash the other day. It looks incredible, and as far as taste — well, different people think different things. The barista, named Braden Burson, posted his rant on Wednesday. The rant was actually in the form of a video, which showed Burson in a car discussing the new beverage. (He’s since gotten rid of his original tweet, but is still retweeting articles regarding the rant. Thus, he’s obviously standing by it!)

In his mind, the drink tastes like a bunch of SweeTarts. And also, you shouldn’t order it.

In his eyes, the Frap is the most popular ever.

"I have never made so many Frappuccinos in my entire life," Burson yells. "My hands are completely sticky. I have unicorn crap all in my hair and on my nose. I have never been so stressed out in my entire life."

Poor guy.

The drink has been incredibly popular on Instagram, since it’s pretty. We mean, just look at it:

According to Burson, customers were coming in left and right to try the frap.

"It's so difficult to make," Burson said, sounding like he was sick of it all.

While he sounds angry, Burson ended the video in a pretty funny way — by giving a thumbs up, with the text of “This has been ranting sessions with Braden” underneath. So, stressed or not, he definitely has a pretty decent sense of humor.

Burson’s anguish should end shortly. The drink is only available until the 23rd of this month. Let’s just hope that Starbucks doesn’t immediately release another drink that goes viral, to give our favorite baristas a bit of a break.
