This baby just took a selfie with President Obama, and we’re forever jealous
Airports are a perfect place for people watching; there’s always something unexpected happening. Earlier this year, a sneaky raccoon pulled off a Mission: Impossible stunt at an airport in Toronto. Lately, the TSA has been asking passengers to remove books from their carry-ons. The Cincinnati airport even has miniature therapy horses to help keep travelers calm. Now, According to the Associated Press, a mom named Jolene Jackinsky just experienced the most unexpected thing of all while traveling with her six-month-old baby, Giselle, at Anchorage International Airport.
While looking for their terminal, Jackinsky and her daughter ran into President Obama and snapped some photos with the former president. The results were priceless and adorable.
Jackinsky recounts, “As I got closer, I thought: Oh my God, it is Obama.” And then Obama walked up and asked, “Who is this pretty girl?” So. Freaking. Cute. And when Giselle’s papa walked up, Obama even joked, “I’m taking your baby.” Can he take us with him too? Pretty please?
This baby already knows how awesome it was to meet Obama.

The former president has a track record of being amazing with kids, so it’s no surprise that this chance encounter was so sweet.
Jackinsky and her family were super excited to have this unique experience. The expression on Giselle’s face is absolutely hilarious. It’s like she somehow knew that she was taking the coolest selfie ever.
"It was only five minutes but it was a moment that will last forever," Jackinsky said. "I think it's unreal and pretty exciting that I get to have a picture with him and my baby. Not a lot of people get to meet him."
It’s not every day that you get to meet a former president in an airport AND get to take selfies together. The Jackinsky family has some great pictures and memories of a really cool and unique experience! We can only hope we can get a chance to get an equally awesome selfie with Obama. *crosses our fingers*
