This baby flamingo is just trying to adult, and we relate so much

Warning: This might be the cutest thing you see all weekend.

On Thursday, the Pittsburgh National Aviary introduced us to their newest baby flamingo. And then, the internet exploded accordingly. Probably because we’re loving all things flamingo right now. Or because everybody loves baby animals.

In these adorable images, the little baby flamingo is trying its hardest to act like an adult flamingo.

Who knew a baby flamingo could be so relatable? We just wish we looked half as cute when we’re adulting. The little fluffy bird was trying to stand up and extend its legs like a full-grown flamingo would. It wasn’t successful, but that didn’t stop Twitter from going nuts over this adorable bird.

We need more baby flamingo pictures, stat!

Obviously, we couldn’t get enough of this adorable little bird. Luckily Twitter user @celesse went to visit the flamingo and take more pictures. Sometimes we can’t help and love the power of the internet. Especially when we get cute baby animal pictures.

The aviary said that the eggs were laid from May 26th to June 9th, and this little fluff was the first to hatch. You know what that means? It hopefully means that these are just the first cute pictures of baby flamingos that we’re going to get. Can you imagine how ridiculously precious it’s going to be when a brother or sister hatches for this little bird to play with? Multiple flamingos playing with each other? Cuteness. Explosion.

And if you live near Pittsburgh, a trip to the aviary should definitely be on your itinerary. We would image the cuteness levels in person would be off the charts. If you go, don’t forget to send us pictures of the baby flamingos!
