This Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt news makes us hopeful

The breakup between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has been tough on everyone. As with any celebrity breakup, rumors have been spread and sides have been established. The couple is currently preparing for a custody war over their six children. Rumors about Jolie planning to move her six children to London have been disproved by one of her spokespeople. Said spokesperson also informed TMZ that “Angelina wants to [allegedly] continue therapy with the kids and Brad.” That’s good news to hear in the midst of the upsetting Jolie-Pitt divorce media storm.

According to reports, Jolie is currently seeking sole physical custody over Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax, Vivienne, and Knox, while Pitt is asking for joint custody. Even thought the London rumors have been denied, TMZ still remains sure that Jolie is planning to secure a position within the United Nations, which would make joint custody nearly impossible with Pitt remaining in the States.

But with this new information coming in about Jolie and Pitt working their issues out with therapy, perhaps there is a light at the end of this troubled tunnel.

According to People Magazine, sources have said that Jolie and Pitt are currently working together to come to a permanent custody arrangement and that any new reports of Jolie filing separate custody documents are incorrect. The source told People on Monday:

"The original agreement is temporary and voluntary and that has not changed in the slightest; absolutely no binding agreement has been made, no final decisions have been made, and there is nothing that should be presented as a legally binding custody arrangement at this time. There is zero legal purpose for filing this. Zero."

That agreement outlines that Jolie “shall have physical custody of the minor children,” and that Pitt will continue to have “agreed upon therapeutic visitation” with the kids until the permanent custody arrangement is made.

Divorce is never easy, and when there are children involved, that makes everything even harder. We wish the family the best and we hope Jolie and Pitt peacefully come to a decision.
