A few things only diehard ‘Star Wars’ fans will understand
With Star Wars: The Force Awakens finally arriving in theaters, you might find yourself more than ready to truly let your inner Star Wars fan out. Sure, Star Wars can be celebrated all year long, but there’s really nothing like a brand new chapter of the saga in theaters. This isn’t something that happens every day.
So my friends, search your feelings, you know them to be true — you’re so excited. Let all those feelings out and agree that with Star Wars in theaters, this is the best time of the year. Whether you’ve loved the series all your life, or loved the series for the last six months because that’s when you binged them all for the first time, it doesn’t matter. A Star Wars fan is a Star Wars fan, and these are just a few things we understand in our heart of hearts.
Han shot first !!
The phrase, “I know,” is actually the most romantic thing you can say to your partner
Luke doesn’t need to brag about shooting whom prats. We get it.
Even if you’re in the lead, it’s always best to let the wookiee win
The prequels are…….. sometimes bearable.
OK, after much inner soul-searching, you’ve come to realize you enjoy one of the prequels. But you don’t have to invite them all to your birthday party.
That speeder chase on Endor > Podracing
Puppet Yoda > CGI Yoda
Wookies > Ewoks
R2D2 > C3PO (sorry, 3PO)
Mos Eisley Cantina > that bar scene in Episode II
Everything else > Jar Jar Binks
But, be honest. As a 9-13 year old child you LOVED Jar Jar Binks.
The Midi-chlorian count doesn’t really matter
Han shot first, it’s still not really up for debate
The best way to watch the movies is: IV, V, VI, and then watch IV, V, VI again
But there’s nothing wrong with watching IV, V, II, III and then VI
The only time you watch Episode I is when you suddenly remember Liam Neeson once played a Jedi
Calling someone a “nerf herder” isn’t as bad as calling them “scruffy looking”
It’s OK to hate sand
If you have a bad feeling about something, everything is about to go wrong
The OG movies are better than the Special Edition Movies
All you’ve ever wanted in life is for someone to hold you like they did by the lake on Naboo.
If you give in to your anger, it’ll lead to hate, and hate leads to suffering, and it should be avoided at all costs.
Han still shot first
