These temporary tattoos are the next best thing to getting permanent ink
While tattoos are incredible, sometimes it’s tough to predict whether or not you’ll have tattoo regret after getting inked. That’s why we’re fascinated by these temporary tattoos from Easy.ink. Yes, they’re only temporary — but unlike your standard temporary tattoo, they’ll last for roughly two weeks. And, they look just like the real thing. So, they’re more or less perfect for the indecisive (or terrified) tattoo fan.
Easy.ink just launched a Kickstarter campaign to help lessen the cost of their materials and make their product readily available to a larger audience. Since the product uses materials that are already FDA approved (and found in nature — the ink is made with Jagua fruits) it’s pretty top of the line. Especially as far as temporary tattoos are concerned.
Also, unlike your standard temporary tat, it’s totally waterproof.
Easy.ink offers a bunch of cool designs that you can choose from, both big and small.
Tattoos arrive on a multi-layered adhesive patch. After placement, the patch take a few hours to “develop” — and you’ll be able to see it darken over time. Once it’s time to peel it off, tattoo fans will notice a crisp, deep design that could definitely pass for the real thing.
So, if you’re hesitant on a certain design or placement, they’re absolutely perfect. If you hate it, you won’t have to deal with it for the rest of your life.
The company was founded by Oz and Eran Arie, both somewhat indecisive fans of body art. It took the two of them roughly five years to create a safe prototype that they were happy with.
"I could never imagine having the same design my whole life," Oz states in his Kickstarter video.
The campaign will last until the end of the month, but the team over at Easy.ink is already one-third of the way to their goal. Since it’s the summer, it’s the perfect excuse to bare some skin and show off some ink — temporary or not.
