These photos of Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande rehearsing for the Manchester benefit concert are making us tear up

In the wake of a terrorist attack, it’s important to focus on the good that happens when people come together to help each other. Like these pictures of Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande rehearsing for the Manchester benefit concert, One Love. In the pictures, Miley and Ariana seem to be working on a performance but also taking a break to sit down and talk with each other. It’s just nice to see that stars and the fans alike could come together in one place to mourn the victims of the Manchester bombing after one of Grande’s concerts late last month.

Tragically, on Saturday night, there was another terrorist attack in England, this time in London, which killed seven and wounded 48 others. Many fans were worried that the Manchester benefit concert would be cancelled, but the show will go on anyway. Scooter Braun, Grande’s manager, made a statement on Sunday morning saying,

"Today's One Love Manchester benefit concert will not only continue, but will do so with greater purpose. We must not be afraid and in tribute to all those affected here and around the world, we will bring our voices together and sing loudly."

He’s right.

But the concert venue has beefed up security for the event, in the name of being overly cautious.

You don’t have to miss the concert just because you’re on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. There’s a livestream (right now!) of the concert on Grande’s YouTube channel and on her Facebook page. Right after the concert, Freeform will air the whole thing starting at 5 p.m. ET. Then a highlights reel will be sent to ABC, which will air it after the NBA Finals, so you won’t have to miss a thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9yak899MUs

Just after the bombing, Grande cancelled the rest of her “Dangerous Woman” tour, but she’s been hanging out in Manchester visiting the victims of the attack. Cyrus, too, has been supportive, dedicating a performance to the victims and reaching out via social media to Grande, to send her love.

It’s also possible they’ll do a duet together tonight, which is worth tuning in for. Justin Bieber, Little Mix, Katy Perry, Take That, Niall Horan, Coldplay, Marcus Mumford, and Pharrell Williams are also scheduled to perform. It’s going to be a fun, and hopefully very safe, night.
