Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was an absolute beauty icon and her signature look (think bold liner, red lipstick, tousled hair) is both classic and super on-trend. Because of this — and the fact that Selena was an absolutely beloved pop cultural darling who will never forgotten — when MAC released a makeup collection inspired by the late singer, we know the pieces would go really, really fast.
And they did. The whole collection sold out incredibly quickly, and fans were arguably more passionate and excited about this launch than just about any other the brand has rolled out. If you were one of the disappointed Selena fans who didn’t manage to get your hands on any pieces from the line, we’re about to make your day:
MAC just announced that they’ll re-launch the collection.

We recognize the great lengths people went to buy M·A·C Selena and we are sorry for those who walked away empty handed. We are happy to share that we are properly restocking the collection...The collection will be available again for purchase in early January," MAC said via Instagram.
We couldn’t be happier about this news! If you caught a glimpse of the collection, you know how amazing it all looked. Pieces are currently selling for insane amounts of money over on eBay, but we’re willing to wait a few months to score them at MAC’s generally reasonable price point.
