There’s officially a fanny pack that looks like a hairy dad belly
Based on the popularity of “dad bods,” someone out there decided to make a fanny pack that looked like a beer gut. Why? Well…because they could, we guess. Called the Dadbag, creator Albert Pukies had some pretty hilarious things to say when asked that same exact question.
"I made the Dadbag because I’m desperate to have dad bod but I’m also very concerned about the health risks associated with it," Pukies said to BoredPanda. "The solution is quite simple, a bumbag with a proper dad belly printed on it. Now I can put on a dad bod whenever I feel like it and even store my valuables in it."
While the Dadbag currently isn’t in production, Pukies plans to have a few different fanny pack models available in the future. We’re not sure if they’re inspired by anyone that Pukies knows, or if the names came out of thin air.
As you can see, they vary by level of hair and skin tone. We’re just glad there’s a lot of options.
Pukies is a London-based art director who, according to an interview with Mashable, meant to just make one bag for himself. But then photos went viral, and he realized that he could make a real business out of it. At this stage, he’s looking for a few investors.
We have to admit, this product is so weird that it’s genius. Plus, we can’t think of a better way to safeguard our valuables. Can we see this fanny pack showing up on Shark Tank someday? Without a doubt.
The fact that it’s so realistic makes us think that this may be the perfect way to re-introduce the fanny pack to the world of fashion.
