You can chill and be covered in hundreds of cats at this cat sanctuary in Hawaii

Guys. Guys. There’s a cat sanctuary in Hawaii! A cat sanctuary in paradise. (Though the cats’ presence alone makes it paradise.) HOW DID WE NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS ALREADY?

The Lanai Cat Sanctuary in Hawaii is home to nearly 500 cats of varying shapes and sizes. Visitors are welcome to pet any and all of the feline inhabitants… if they can find them: the cats are not confined to cages, but rather free to roam and explore the sanctuary. How fun is that?

The sanctuary is located on the small Hawaiian island of Lanai, and is 25,000 square feet. That’s a lot of space for a cat to roam! All kitties are available for either foster or adoption, and any cat that doesn’t find a home can spend the rest of its life at the sanctuary. The sanctuary is open to the public between 10 a.m. to 3.p.m every day. I’m booking my tickets to Hawaii now.

Below are just some of the images of people having a purrrrrfectly good time (I couldn’t help myself) at the sanctuary:
