The “Will & Grace” stars put lyrics to their iconic theme song, and it’s catchy AF

Television theme songs can be super catchy. But when the “Will & Grace” stars put lyrics to their theme, it became even more catchy. On Friday night, Jimmy Fallon had Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes on The Tonight Show to celebrate the return of their beloved show. (Here’s the Will & Grace revival trailer if you need a refresher.)

The stage was filled with dancers and props as the cast sang “Get down! Will & Grace is coming to town!

Debra Messing kicked things off.

“I’m Debra Messing as you probably know. You might remember me from the cast of the show. Grace is the character that I play — interior designer and Will’s roommate.

Then Eric McCormack chimed in from the audience.

"I'm Eric McCormack and I play Will. The show is comin' back, and I'm playin' him still. You can see it this fall on NBC. Remember when we used to call it 'Must-See TV?'"

Next, Megan Mullaly chimed in, poking fun at NBC’s lineup of Chicago-based shows.

“It’s more fun than you could ever know. Only show on NBC not set in Chicago, she sang.

Sean Hayes popped in to add that Will & Grace “just might be the best show in the whole universe,” but noted that it’s “still on NBC so we can’t f—ing curse.” Then, they all came together to sing the catchy chorus.

“Get down! Will & Grace is coming to town!”

Can Will & Grace add these lyrics the show’s intro? They’re so catchy, and everyone is a great singer!

Chances are the theme song will stay as-is, but now we can all sing the lyrics to ourselves as we watch the show. Will & Grace returns this Thursday, September 28th at 9 p.m. ET on NBC!
