The trailer for “Stranger Things” Season 2 is here, so excuse us while we freak the eff out

The trailer for Stranger Things Season 2 premiered during the 2017 Super Bowl, and if you haven’t seen it yet, prepare to do your most excited happy dance. Because not only did we get the trailer for Stranger Things Season 2, but we also got the premiere date: HALLOWEEN.

If you’ve been wondering all this time what happened to Eleven and her tween boy squad of demogorgon hunters, Netflix has the answers in this quick teaser — sort of. You’ll briefly see Eleven opening her eyes and hear Mike yelling her name. You’ll encounter Mike, Dustin, and Lucas dressed in Ghostbusters jumpsuits.

You’ll catch a drawing of THIS:

The drawing comes alive when you later notice a bright red sky and what looks like a spider the size of a skyscraper, which is absolutely thrilling and terrifying at the same time.

Basically, whatever snatched Will and Barbs last season is back in this horrifying form. And we have every reason to be losing our chill.
