The trailer for Jacob Tremblay and Maddie Ziegler’s new movie is making our hearts pound

It goes without saying that Jacob Tremblay is one of our favorite young actors (Room, anyone?), and we’re also low-key obsessed with dancer-turned-actress Maddie Ziegler. So we cannot WAIT for their new film, The Book of Henry.
But prepare yourself, because the Book of Henry trailer will give you major anxiety, and maybe kind of make you want to cry. The film follows Henry, a boy-genius (Jaeden Lieberher) and his little brother (Tremblay), and the lengths they go to in order to save a friend who is being abused by her stepfather (Ziegler).
Take a look.

Okay, we’re definitely intrigued. This film has so many interesting elements we almost don’t know where to begin (a brilliant child? A plot to save a little girl? Action? Suspense? Drama? We could go on).
"Mom, everything you need is right here. I'll be with you the whole time. [...] No matter what, don't panic."
"I'm NOT panicking!"
The movie comes out on June 16th, so we’ve got a while to mentally prepare…and even though it’s intense, movies that offer challenging material are usually the most rewarding.
From the look of the atmospheric trailer and the throwback-style poster, plus the fact that it has a stellar cast (which also includes Naomi Watts, Sarah Silverman, and Bobby Moynihan), AND is directed by Colin Trevorrow (who did Jurassic World and is going on to do Star Wars),this movie is basically guaranteed to deliver the goods.
In the meantime, we’ll try to harness the roller coaster of emotions we just experienced.
