The “Stranger Things” kids watched the Super Bowl teaser trailer for their show, and adorably freaked out

Remember how amazing it felt to watch that brief teaser trailer on Sunday night? Well, the Stranger Things kids also enjoyed their Super Bowl moment, and there’s a video for proof. Even though they’re in it, presumably knew the air date before we did, and probably expected the ad to run, their enthusiasm is like no other.

It’s so incredible how proud these kids are of the show. And since we’ve got to wait until Halloween to figure out what happens with The Upside Down, these little extras are always appreciated.

Many thanks to Noah Schnapp, also known as Will Byers, for making this gem available on his Instagram account.

There’s screams, there’s hugs, and there’s enough excitement to fill a football stadium. It’s funny how everything these kids do is pretty great.

"Fun video of us seeing the S2 teaser!!!" Schnapp said in the caption. "Link in bio! Go check it out!"

In case you still haven’t seen it, here’s the teaser that got them so pumped:

It doesn’t tell us much, but it does tell us a few things. First, Eleven is definitely back. (Phew.)

Second, there’s a monster outside that resembles the gigantic spider you saw in your nightmares all the time when you were a child. Third, these children are incredibly influenced by Ghostbusters. We’re sure that little nod would make Bill Murray pretty proud.

While we totally understand the reason for the show’s second season debuting on Halloween, we really wish we didn’t have to wait so long. Hopefully there will be plenty more trailers and teasers between now and then.
