We really wish we were invited to this Spice Girls reunion
Over the weekend, David Beckham turned the big 4-0 and threw a huge party in Marrakech, Morocco. His wife, Victoria Beckham — also known as Posh Spice — clearly got a say in the guest list, because the party was peppered with her former Girls. Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell — also known as Baby, Sporty and Ginger — showed up to the shindig. Melanie Brown (aka Scary Spice) was sadly absent, but that’s OK, because four Spice Girls is still way better than no Spice Girls.
Since Eva Longoria was also in attendance at the birthday bash, she grabbed the opportunity to live out our dreams. She posted a picture she took with the group, along with the caption, “I’m the new Spice Girl!” for all of Instagram to see.
For the record: We’re totally down with that.
Baby Spice also uploaded a few pictures of this new Super Spice Girls group, including Longoria (who’s calling herself Latin Spice) and also the birthday boy (let’s call him Soccer Spice). Serious question, can we expect an album to drop soon? Maybe a world tour? We’d all show up.
This is just the dose of Girl Power we needed on a Monday. Clearly, this friendship has never ended. Spice Girls forever.
