The Rock singing “Shake it Off” will make your Tuesday
No shame: We’re pretty sure we’re going to love “Shake it Off” forever and ever and never get sick of it. Same with the handsome Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. So when you put the two together, it’s a match made in heaven.
A genius over at HBO’s Ballers decided The Rock’s character, Spencer Strasmore, should take a timeout and sing some T-Swift during Sunday’s episode. We’re loving it.
Is there anything The Rock can’t do? He turns heads. He stops traffic. He quite literally shakes (OK, brushes) it off. Because that’s what the song is about, really — doing you and not letting anybody get you down.
Of course, this isn’t the first time The Rock has belted out “Shake it Off.” Oh, no. Refresh your memory with his epic performance of the T-Swift tune on Jimmy Fallon’s Lip Sync Battle:
